About Scion Media
PUBLIC NOTICE 1-4-2024:
Scion Media is a registered "501(c)3 Charitable Organization" (NTEE code A99 Arts, Culture & Humanities NEC) founded originally on November 8th, 2023 by Sam & Esther Ettaro and registered in the state of North Carolina, Mecklenburg County, City of Charlotte. The stated purpose of this organization is "charitable and educational" with our general mission stated as follows: "We provide digital media production support and training to nonprofits, and vocational training to people interested in digital media careers. We create workforce development opportunities by pairing our nonprofit partners with our students."

Promoting the responsible use of digital media to educate, motivate, and inspire.
Scion Media was founded in 2023 by Sam Ettaro, a retired digital media arts teacher and life-long digital media creator. Ettaro has had a long career as entrepreneur, educator, and through it all he saw a consistent disconnect between those who want to create media, and those who need the services of the creators. Often times, businesses are hesitant to hire or contract for media services as they feel intimidated by what they see as the complexity of the tasks and systems involved. This issue is especially prevalent within the nonprofit and small business communities. The mission of Scion Media is focused on building connections and connecting budding creative producers with the nonprofit community that needs them. Our organization is rooted in the Biblical principles that drive Ettaro's businesses, and guide his family every day.

Our Faith Is Central To Our Service
"Engaging in business without faith is like driving without your headlights on. You may get where you want to go, you may not. Jesus Christ is the light of our world, and our guiding light for Scion Media. His Gospel is the foundation of mission. We believe it's our duty to use the gifts we've been given to serve others, and teach them how to do the same. This is our mission, and we're keeping the lights on!"

What We Do
Scion Media provides inspiration, motivation, and educational opportunities through the implementation of digital media technologies and systems. We teach digital media. We create digital media. We help others use digital media. We are on a mission to help people discover and advance the gifts granted to them by God, and turn these skill sets into a vocation using digital media.
We help guide and mentor individuals and organizations, establishing opportunities for people to work and thrive together. Our students get paired with our community partners, giving them chances to serve their community by creating engaging media, contributing the the greater good. They do this all while learning valuable career skill sets in the digital media arts, business, as well as important life skills.

We help those who are unsure about their career pathway, and want to explore a creative approach to building future whether by attaining employment, or starting their own business.
Organizations:
We help guide non-profits and businesses who are want to implement digital media into their business endeavors, but are unsure how to get started, who to hire, or how to manage the process.
